OSP/100C is seeking a Part-Time Junior Literature Teacher for its Apgujeong branch in Seoul, South Korea. This role is ideal for a native-English-speaking educator with a passion for introducing younger learners to the world of classic and contemporary literature, with an immediate start date.
Job Description
As a Junior Literature Teacher, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate literature lessons to young students at the Apgujeong centre (accessible via Subway Line 3). Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular classes Monday to Thursday and Saturday, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Taking on private tutoring sessions that may be scheduled outside of regular class hours
- Teaching morning sessions during Summer and Winter Intensive programmes
- Fostering a stimulating, text-rich classroom environment that builds reading comprehension, critical thinking and a genuine love of literature
- Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the school’s junior literature curriculum
Requirements
Candidates must satisfy both the role-specific preferences and the school’s minimum teaching requirements:
- Prior experience teaching junior-level students is preferred
- Proficiency in both Korean and English is an advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited four-year university in a native English-speaking country — USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
- Original diploma notarized with an Apostille
- Nationwide Criminal Background Check with an Apostille

Schedule & Location
The position is based in Apgujeong, Seoul, conveniently located on Subway Line 3. Regular class hours run Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Availability on Saturdays is a firm requirement. Additional private tutoring and seasonal intensive classes (morning slots in summer/winter) may also be offered. The start date is as soon as possible.
