Job Description
This is a truly distinctive early-childhood teaching role, set within a school whose philosophy centres on connecting young learners to the natural world. Daily classroom life goes well beyond conventional curriculum delivery — teachers at Bamboo Valley Nature School lead and participate in hands-on experiential sessions that may include:
- Animal care and responsibility
- Cooking and baking activities
- Life skills development
- Nature exploration and outdoor learning
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that nurture curiosity, independence and a love of learning in young children, while upholding the school’s Waldorf-inspired educational values.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education or a closely related field
- Genuine passion for working with young learners in a nature-based environment
- Enthusiasm for experiential, hands-on teaching approaches aligned with Waldorf philosophy
