Kindergarten English Teacher at Anglo Singapore International School Bangkok

Anglo Singapore International School is looking for a passionate and experienced Kindergarten English Teacher to join its Early Years team at the Sukhumvit 64 Campus in Bangkok, Thailand, with a start date of August 2026. This is a full-time position suited to an educator who is committed to purposeful early literacy instruction within a nurturing international school environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality English instruction to Kindergarten students, using developmentally appropriate, child-centred approaches designed to build strong early literacy foundations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering intentional early learning experiences focused on vocabulary development, phonological awareness, early reading, and pre-writing skills.
• Supporting young learners in developing foundational English competencies in speaking, listening, pre-reading, and pre-writing.
• Creating a structured, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment that fosters curiosity, focus, and positive learning habits.
• Observing, monitoring, and assessing student progress, providing meaningful, individualised feedback.
• Communicating regularly with parents to share students’ progress and support each child’s learning journey at home and in school.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent, high-quality English programme across the Kindergarten level.
• Participating in school-wide events, co-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
• Upholding school policies, including safeguarding and child wellbeing standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent credential.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience in a Kindergarten or Early Years setting.
• Strong grounding in early childhood development principles and age-appropriate academic instruction.
• Prior experience in international or multicultural school environments is highly desirable.
• Strong English proficiency for both teaching and professional communication.
• Excellent classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a genuine commitment to early childhood learning and development.
