NACIS Shanghai, a Nord Anglia Education school located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, is seeking a Secondary Integrated Science Teacher (Chinese National) to join its growing team from August 2026.

The Role

  • Teach Integrated Science at Grade 6 and Grade 7 using Cambridge textbooks.
  • Report to the Integrated Science Coordinator and ensure that planning, preparation, teaching, assessment, and reporting meet both student needs and school expectations.
  • Actively contribute to wider school development and collaborate with national and international colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive curriculum knowledge and maintain flexibility to teach across different areas within the science department.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning activities aligned to the school’s Secondary curriculum, promoting high expectations and a culture of limitless achievement.
  • Foster a respectful classroom environment that facilitates learning through inquiry, questioning, and discussion.

About You

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree (notarised) and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Possesses a minimum of 2 years of Science teaching experience (required to meet China visa conditions).
  • Able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international school setting.
  • Reflective practitioner who actively seeks innovative methods to improve student outcomes.
  • Confident communicator across diverse audiences, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Collaborative team player keen to share expertise and act as an ambassador for the school.
