Full-time English teacher, with annual flight and housing subsidy in a resort, Mission Hill, Shenzhen

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Primary School Teacher to join our team at Bromsgrove Mission Hills Foreign Language School in Shenzhen. You will teach a diverse range of subjects to Prep 1-7 pupils, including English, Maths, Inquiry, and Computing in a stimulating learning environment. Pupils follow a bespoke English Language programme based on international best practices and are assessed using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) system, with the goal of preparing them for IGCSE examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an outstanding learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity and a love of learning
• Build strong routines to enhance pupil well-being and belonging
• Teach primarily English with some periods of Maths, Inquiry or Computing depending on year group assignment
• Provide homeroom provision as an English-speaking teacher alongside a Chinese bilingual banzhuren
• Lead morning registration, ERIC (Everyone Reading in Class), Phonics sessions and end-of-day activities
• Engage in parent communication and co-curricular activities to enrich pupil learning
• Document learning to recognise and celebrate pupil achievements and plan next steps
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver the BMH English Curriculum
• Receive multiple PPA (planning, preparation and assessment) periods throughout the week

Requirements:

• University degree (BA/B.Sc) or equivalent
• Teacher qualification (B.Ed/M.Ed/PGCE/QTS) or equivalent
• Minimum two years relevant teaching experience
• English speaker
