Preschool Teacher (Native English Speaker) in Thailand

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Native English-speaking Preschool Teacher to deliver high-quality, play-based learning. Our curriculum blends the British EYFS, National Curriculum, and the HighScope approach. Join our professional, close-knit community to help foster self-esteem, holistic development, and Executive Functions (EF) in young children.

Working Hours & Class Details

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8.5 hours/day).

• Teaching Load: Maximum 21 teaching hours per week.

• Class Size: Maximum 15 children (1:5 teacher-to-student ratio).

• Note: School operates year-round with extended hours available.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, play-based educational experiences.

• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment.

• Manage the planning, observation, and assessment cycle.

• Communicate student progress effectively through written reports and informal dialogue with parents.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to co-curricular activities.

Qualifications

• Nationality: Native English Speaker (Citizen of the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa).

• Experience: 3+ years of preschool teaching experience.

• Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child & Adolescent Development, or Educational Psychology is highly preferred.

• Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood educational theories; highly organized and excellent communication skills.

• Traits: Kind, friendly, energetic, and a professional role model for students.

• Background: No prior criminal record.
