Head of Kindergarten Department at Anglo Singapore International School, Bangkok

Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok is looking for a passionate and highly qualified Head of Kindergarten Department to lead and develop its early years section. This is a full-time leadership role offering a competitive salary of up to ฿85,000 per month.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide both academic and pastoral leadership across the Kindergarten section, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and student wellbeing during these critical formative years. You will collaborate closely with the Kindergarten & Primary School Principal and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure curriculum coherence, instructional excellence, and strong professional practice throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide teaching and learning practices across the Kindergarten
• Ensure consistency and coherence in curriculum delivery
• Mentor, coach, and support Kindergarten teaching staff
• Oversee and develop assessment strategies and practices
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents and guardians
• Promote student wellbeing and a nurturing learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Recognised teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, or Early Childhood Certification
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Early Years or Kindergarten settings
• Demonstrated leadership experience in early years or kindergarten environments
• Familiarity with early childhood curriculum frameworks
• Knowledge of the Singapore early years curriculum, particularly in Mathematics and Science, is an advantage
