
AP Psychology Teacher at BASIS International School Huizhou, $55–65K
BASIS International School Park Lane Harbour, located in the coastal hills of Huizhou, is looking for a qualified and experienced AP Psychology Teacher to join its faculty for the 2026–27 academic year.
The Role
As an AP Psychology Teacher, you will introduce students to the foundations of psychology — including social psychology, psychological research methods, and related subject matter — preparing them thoroughly for AP examinations. Additional responsibilities include:
- Building meaningful, individualized relationships with students to support their personal learning journeys
- Guiding students toward academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellectual growth
- Engaging in continuous professional development, collaborating with peers, and keeping current with best practices in education
- Actively contributing to a positive, collaborative school community
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related subject area
- Experience: Minimum of two years as a lead classroom teacher (required for work visa eligibility)
- Collaboration: A genuine team player who values sharing knowledge and learning from colleagues internationally
- Standards: Demonstrated commitment to academic rigor and high-quality international education
Compensation & Benefits
