Job Description
Based at one of Haikou’s top-rated public schools in the city centre, you will deliver engaging oral English lessons to junior and senior high school students at Grade 7 and Grade 10 level. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering dynamic oral English classes that build students’ communicative confidence
- Developing lesson materials appropriate to the age group and curriculum expectations
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Collaborating with Chinese English teachers to support a bilingual learning environment
- Upholding professional standards and contributing to student safeguarding
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited institution in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
- Eligibility for a legal work permit in China
- Clean criminal-record check
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, teaching licence, or equivalent qualification (where required)
- Relevant teaching experience; prior experience with secondary school students preferred
