Kindergarten English Teacher – Beijing & 5 Cities, Meridian ESL, Up to 32,000 RMB/mo

Meridian ESL is actively recruiting native English-speaking Kindergarten Teachers across six major Chinese cities: Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, and Nanjing. Both entry-level and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, age-appropriate English lessons to young learners aged 2–6 in a kindergarten or training centre environment.
• Design and prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and interactive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely alongside local teaching staff and classroom assistants.

Requirements

• Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred.
• Entry-level applicants: No prior teaching experience required; female candidates preferred.
• Training centre experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time teaching in a training centre setting.
• Experienced kindergarten teachers: At least 2 years of full-time kindergarten teaching post-graduation, plus a minimum of two employer reference letters.
• All applicants must submit a short demo video (10–15 minutes in length).
• Clean criminal background check and good general health required.

Compensation

• Entry-level (no experience): 15,000–20,000 RMB/month, based on qualifications and interview performance.
• Training centre experience: 18,000–20,000 RMB/month.
• Experienced kindergarten teachers (2+ years): 21,000–32,000 RMB/month.
