Optics Valley Ulink School in Wuhan is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary English / French Teacher to join its team. Key Responsibilities

• Foster an inspiring, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and curiosity.
• Teach both English and French at the secondary level to a high standard.
• Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons that align with curriculum expectations.
• Ensure continuity within the secondary curriculum and apply interdisciplinary approaches in daily teaching.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student achievement and progress.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents, demonstrating commitment to each learner’s academic and personal well-being.
• Actively contribute to curriculum development, school events, and wider school life.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field, with strong subject knowledge in both French and English.
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., M.Ed., iPGCE, QTS/iQTS).
• A minimum of two years’ full-time classroom teaching experience in mainstream education is preferred.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Experience with the Cambridge curriculum and/or an international school setting is a distinct advantage.
• A strong sense of responsibility and genuine pastoral care for students.
• Willingness to participate actively in academic enrichment and extracurricular activities.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a commitment to maintaining and raising teaching standards.
