1. Structured English Literacy

Deliver systematic English lessons using the Jolly Phonics / Jolly Literacy methodology, developing primary learners’ skills in:

  • Reading & Writing
  • Phonics & Spelling
  • Grammar & Vocabulary
  • Oral communication

2. Inquiry-Based Projects

Lead interdisciplinary, inquiry-based learning projects in English across subjects including:

  • Science
  • History
  • Geography
  • Arts

Teachers will guide students through hands-on investigations, collaborative experiences and authentic projects designed to build curiosity, creativity, communication and critical thinking.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent English speaker — native or near-native level
  • Experience teaching primary-aged children
  • Enthusiastic about literacy and language development
  • Comfortable with project-based and inquiry-driven teaching approaches
  • Creative, well-organised and a strong team player
  • Committed to professional growth and collaboration

Prior experience with Jolly Phonics, Jolly Literacy, Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), Project-Based Learning (PBL) or comparable international programmes is a significant advantage.

Additional Full-Time Opportunity

Candidates with strong backgrounds in curriculum development, IBL and project-based education may be considered for a full-time role. In addition to afternoon teaching, mornings would focus on designing an innovative Inquiry curriculum for Years 2–6, encompassing:

  • Long-term curriculum mapping
  • Unit and project design
  • Assessment frameworks
  • Teaching resource development
  • Learning progressions across year levels

This curriculum development phase is expected to conclude by the end of the current school year, after which the role transitions into a full-time teaching position the following academic year. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new bilingual curriculum from the ground up.

What We Offer

  • A supportive, collaborative international team
  • Small teaching groups for a focused learning environment
  • A dynamic, forward-thinking educational setting
  • Professional development opportunities
  • A meaningful role in designing an innovative bilingual curriculum
