Hongik Englart Education Center, a well-established language learning institution in the Guro-gu district of Seoul, is looking for a motivated Native English Teacher to work with kindergarten and elementary-aged students. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, giving candidates genuine flexibility in how they structure their teaching schedule.
Job Description
As a Native English Teacher at Hongik Englart, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate English classes to young learners across kindergarten and elementary levels. Your primary duties will include:
- Planning and conducting English language lessons tailored to the needs of young learners
- Supporting students in building confidence and proficiency in spoken and written English
- Creating a positive, encouraging classroom environment that motivates early-stage language acquisition
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
Requirements
- Native English speaker (required)
- Ability to teach and connect effectively with kindergarten and elementary-aged children
- Strong communication skills and a patient, enthusiastic approach to early childhood and primary EFL education
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage, though not strictly required
Benefits
- Full-time position: Working hours 09:00–18:00 (negotiable); salary starting at KRW 2,800,000 per month
- Part-time position: Working hours 09:00–13:00; salary of KRW 1,000,000 per month

- Option to enrol in South Korea’s Four Major Social Insurances or apply the 3.3% withholding tax arrangement
