Job Description
As a Native English Teacher with Sylvan Learning Vietnam, you will be placed at schools and be responsible for delivering structured, age-appropriate English instruction. Your main duties will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-based English lessons tailored to young learners
- Monitoring individual student progress and providing constructive, encouraging feedback
- Fostering a positive, interactive and communicative classroom atmosphere
- Upholding the school’s teaching standards, values and quality expectations
- Collaborating with local teaching staff and school administration as needed
Requirements
- Native English speaker (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification — required for candidates whose degree is not in Education
- Minimum 1 year of English teaching experience
- Priority given to candidates who already hold a valid Vietnamese Work Permit or possess all documents necessary to obtain one
