English Teacher in Ho Chi Minh City

Location: Public schools in HCMC (Preferably based in Nhà Bè, Thủ Đức, Bình Tân, Bình Thạnh, Tân
Bình)
Salary: 470,000 – 550,000 VND/hour (Gross)

Responsibilities: 
Teach English to public school students following the assigned curriculum (General English, Math & Science) 
Prepare lessons (if needed), slides, and in-class activities based on provided teaching
guidelines. 
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment. 
Assess students’ progress when required (quick checks, in-class activities, mini tests). 
Attend training sessions to understand teaching formats and program expectations.

Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Education/English or related field. 
Teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent). 
Native or non-native teacher with clear pronunciation. 
Strong classroom management skills. 
Public school teaching experience (35 – 45 students). 
Responsible, punctual, and able to coordinate well with HR and Academic teams. 
Valid documents for teaching (passport, visa/TRC in valid, work permit if applicable).

Working Schedule: 
Fixed weekly schedule for part-time teachers.
On-call schedule for substitute teachers, depending on class needs.
